Hayley

We handpicked Hayley from her litter while she was being raised in her foster home. She has all the traits we hoped for – she is sassy, bossy, and ADORABLE! She is a fantastic car rider which is a good thing! When Hayley was only 8 months old, we moved from our home in Pennsylvania to our new Arctic home in Alaska! Hayley loved the car trip and continues to be a wonderful travelmate as we drive all around Alaska. She loves to play with squeaky toys, and is always up for games. Hayley is the boss, and she will not let you forget it! She is smart as can be. We did have to paper train her since her little, low-rider body just can’t stand going potty when it is -40 degrees outside!

Scraps (Mowgli)

Scraps (Mowgli) is now a resident horse farmer! When he first arrived at the farm, he had a lot to learn to learn how to cohabitate with the horses. Scraps spent numerous hours in training learning how to be patient, walk, and listen to commands. He also recently became a model! He is “Mr. October” in a calendar! Way to go, Scraps!

Jake

“Captain Chaos” is alive and well here in Mooresville. What a nutty dog. We love him to death. Jake, Jake, Jake……what can you say about Jake…….He will chew anything imaginable up into to unrecognizable bits……He will sneak food off the table when your back is turned and gobble it down in a millisecond….Run him outside for a while when you’re mad at him and he sits at the door groaning and moaning (it is really funny) until you let him in……But he is a lovable “master of disaster”…..If you fuss at him he’ll look up at you with those saaaaddddd eyes as if to say, “I’m sorry”Still sleeps in Abby’s room ( at night she snaps her fingers and says. “Let’s go Jake” – and he bolts upstairs and lays down on his mat to go to sleep). He’ll lay at your feet and put his head on your feet. He’s really protective of us with strangers….but will warm up to people we know…..Kenan will still put him in his place every now and then. She’s like a little Momma keeping him in line. He really loves running around in the yard chasing squirrels.
